Looking for work but feel your resume is a little light on? Investing time to gain qualifications is a great way to show potential employers you’re serious about finding work.
This FREE 2-day* school holiday workshop will provide you with the skills and knowledge to confidently provide first aid AND it’s accredited. The qualifications you’ll receive on completion are:
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
*You must attend both days to complete the course and receive a certificate.
This two-day course is being delivered by Surf Life Saving Northern Territory, with support through NTG’s Darwin Youth Activity Grants

Accessibility Information
- This event is being held at the Surf Life Saving Northern Territory (SLSNT) Head office, which is 50m away from a Bagot Rd bus stop.
- From Bagot Road the office building is behind the Crystal Clean Car Wash & Detailing.
- There is a carpark that has a number of car spaces out the front and street parking right next to the building.
- The event is FREE and there will be a meal provided at lunch as well as snacks and water throughout the day.
- There will be maximum of 12 young people participating in the training, and 1SLSNT facilitator running the course over the two days.
- Support workers are welcome
