Filling Friday Film – He NAMED ME MALALA
6-9pm on Friday 2 december
Come join us for a FREE showing of “He Named Me Malala”; the story of Malala Yousafzai, a young Pakistani school girl who was shot by the Taliban for continuing to want an education, and who now uses her voice to advocate for girls education worldwide. She is also the youngest Nobel Peace Prize recipient.
We will also have local young people sharing their stories alongside comedic acts to inspire you to look at things a little differently.
The event will be held in the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory theatrette, and is free.
We will be selling Katja’s popcorn, drinks and other food as a fundraiser for a local community project.
The first 50 people who register will get a free popcorn on the night so get in quick!
Filling Friday Film is presented by the LAUNCH Youth Events Team.
