LAUNCH and City of Darwin Libraries are on the hunt for young people who would like to learn how to produce activities and events as part of Geektacular 2022!
REQUIRED AGE 17-25
Geektacular covers a big range of entertainment, so we are looking for young people from different aspects of the “geek” world to help make Geektacular inclusive and fun for everyone.
Some areas of expertise we are looking for include:
- Esports
- Cosplay
- Board games
- Terrain builders
- Karaoke hosts
- Digital artists
- Zine makers
- Mini market coordinators
We also love trying new things, so don’t feel limited by the list above.
What YOU will get out of being an emerging producer for Geektacular:
- The incredible feeling of creating and running a fantastic event
- Growing your skills and confidence in producing events

- Budget to cover the costs of producing your activity
