Gaming After Dark is a safe, action-packed and inclusive place for young people aged 12-17 to hang out and play casual setups, compete in low stakes esports competitions, socialise and make new friends.

Accessibility Information

  • Gaming After Dark is held in the meeting room at Casuarina Library, which is directly opposite the road from Casuarina bus station.
  • There is a carpark that has 2 allocated and signed wheelchair accessible car spaces approximately 50 metres from the building entrance.
  • There are 3 x 15-minute drop-off zones directly in front of the building entrance.
  • The room is wheelchair accessible with a ramp up to the entrance of the venue and room to move once inside.
  • There is an accessible bathroom available on your right as you enter – just off the library lobby.
  • A light meal, usually sandwiches or snacks, is provided during the session and there is water available at any time.
  • The main lights in the room are off but the room is lit by gaming consoles, computer screens and 2 neon light-stands.
  • If you require assistance on the day, there will be City of Darwin staff working who are trained in first aid as well as 4 or 5 staff from Next Tier Gaming & Esports.
  • Support workers are welcome.
