Small Indulgences invites young artists to free themselves from the expectations of social media and express their true heart’s desires.
Have an artwork you’re embarrassed to share online or itching to create fanart of that really obscure series no one has talked about since the 2000s?
This is an opportunity to showcase works, finished or unfinished, that are made with much love and passion which otherwise might not deem fit for the algorithm.
We encourage young artists to put aside their worries of being perceived or the pressure of attracting engagement and allow yourself to just have fun with it.
This exhibition is all about that one passion project you have tucked away, imperfections and embracing the cringe.
IMPORTANT DATES:
- Submissions close Tuesday 31 December 2024
- Small Indulgences will be displayed at Casuarina Library from 13-24 January 2025
- Geektacular will be held at Casuarina Library on Saturday, 18 January 2025
- The artworks can be collected from Casuarina Library from Saturday, 25 January 2025
