Are you looking for work and feel like your resume is a bit light on? Getting a few extra qualifications is one way you can show potential employers that you’re serious about getting a job.
This FREE 2-day school holiday workshop will provide you with the skills and knowledge to confidently provide first aid AND it’s accredited. The qualifications you’ll receive on completion are:
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
You must attend both days to complete the course and receive a certificate.
Limited spots available, registration required. Lunch provided.

Accessibility Information
- This event is being held at Casuarina Library which is across the road from the Casuarina bus depot.
- There is a carpark that has 2 allocated and signed wheelchair accessible car spaces approximately 50 metres from the building entrance.
- There are 3 x 15-minute drop-off zones directly in front of the building entrance
- The building is wheelchair accessible with a ramp up to the entrance of the venue and room to move once inside.
- There is an accessible bathroom available on your right as you enter – just off the library lobby.
- The event is free and there will be a meal provided at lunch as well as snacks and water throughout the day.
- There will be approximately 15 people participating in the training, hosted by St Johns facilitators.
- If you require assistance on the day there will be a City of Darwin staff member, St Johns trainer.
- Support workers are welcome.
