Getting to and around MAGNIFY
๐ MAGNIFY is held at The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT), 19 Conacher Street, The Gardens.
๐ Both the Darwin Ski Club and Bowls Club are a stoneโs throw from MAGNT. So the party doesnโt have to stop at 8pm gather some mates and make an afternoon of your visit to Conacher Street.
๐ There is a carpark that has 2 signed wheelchair accessible car spaces approximately 30m from the front doors.
๐ There is a bus stop just out front of the Museum however bus service ends late afternoon. The last bus to depart from the Museum is at 5:29pm. If you are wanting to arrive or stay later bus route #4 has stops about 600m away on East Point Road.
๐ The building is wheelchair accessible with a ramp that allows access to all parts of the Museum. NB exhibitions not related to MAGNIFY may be closed.
๐ There is an accessible bathroom and water bubbler available to your right after you enter the foyer. There is also a bathroom and water bubbler on the upper level, next to Exit Art and across from Sweetheart the croc.
๐ You can leave bulky belongings or medical equipment at the customer service desk which has a number system to ensure only you can collect them. The staff at the counter would also be happy to answer any Museum related questions.
๐ All workshops and activities at this event are completely free – however we recommend bringing some cash to support the amazing local artists in the Makers Market. You will also need cash to purchase food from local businesses Liโtalia, Saltwater@Bundilla and Ethiopian Sisters’ Kitchen.
๐ St John Ambulance will be in attendance and there will be City of Darwin staff working who are first aid qualified. Support workers are welcome.
