Cancellation of Youth Homelessness Matters Day Couch Surfing Event 2020
In line with the Australian Government’s COVID-19 advice, Anglicare NT and City of Darwin have made the decision to cancel this year’s ‘Youth Homelessness Matters Day Couch Surfing’ event, scheduled for 15 April, 2020.
Over the years, the Anglicare NT’s ‘Couch Surfing’ event has grown to be a significant feature of the Territory’s contribution to the national Youth Homelessness Matters Day campaign, raising awareness of the high rates of youth homelessness across Australia.
We appreciate the ongoing support of school groups, young people and community organisations as well as our many sponsors and supporters and hope to see you all back racing couches in 2021.
