Come out and celebrate all things skate! The dry season weather offers the perfect opportunity for an afternoon of wheel based games and activity at the Jingili Water Gardens.

All four activity sites will be running all afternoon. There will also be a Smoothie + Toastie bar thanks to Darwin Roller Girls, Fun in the Parks will be providing free children’s activities plus ShinerTown will have a maintenance station.
From 3pm-5pm we will have a pop up screen printing workshop where you can print your own tshirt, bag, teatowel or WHATEVER to take home. There will be three designs to choose from – Skate Nights, Park 101 or LAUNCH. BYO* shirt / bag / teatowel and it’ll cost ya zero bucks. Yes, really. Tshirts and bags will also be available for purchase at cost price.
*NB we’ll only be printing with black ink so BYO garments should be light coloured

A day inspired by International Go Skateboarding Day celebrated annually around the world on June 21st.

1 | ALL participants will be required to check in for contact tracing. This information will remain private and will only be shared with the health authorities if necessary.
2 | Participants are asked to wash or sanitise their hands on arrival and as they move between activity zones. Hand sanitiser provided.

 This City of Darwin event is drug free, this includes alcohol and tobacco. Parental/ guardian supervision recommended for shredders aged 12 and younger.
