Are you a young artist wanting to share your creativity?
We are offering a mural mentorship opportunity to three young artists who will get the AMAZING chance to re-paint the Jingili Skatepark.
Digital illustrators and traditional drawers are also encouraged to apply. Painting skills are not required.
What you will get out of this opportunity:
- Practical advice, guidance from a skilled muralist/street artist
- Education about wall prep, materials and techniques
- Ability to transfer your creative ideas to a wall space
- Opportunity to paint a part of the Jingili Skatepark
- A fee to cover some of your involvement
- Opportunity for the public to see your artwork
Things to consider:
- The painting will occur around the end of February and throughout March
- We will organise a time that works for you
- The sessions won’t be held during school or regular work hours
- You will be taught about using spray cans, brush paint and paint pens. It will be up to you on what you end up using on the wall
- Perfect for people who haven’t painted any murals yet or for people who have some experience but want to get better
