LAUNCH Night Series is presented by Pathfinders NT and IBC with support from City of Darwin and the Northern Territory Government.
LAUNCH Night Series is a social inclusion program for young people aged 12-17. This FREE program is held on Saturday nights from 7pm-10pm.
- Saturday 7 March – Top End Indoor Sports (Woolner)
- Saturday 14 March – Darwin Indoor Beach Volleyball (Winnellie)
- Saturday 21 March – Strong Brother, Strong Sister (Winnellie)
- Saturday 28 March – Strong Brother, Strong Sister (Winnellie)

About the Program
LAUNCH Night Series is a free late night activity program open to young people aged 12 -17 who reside in the Darwin area. The program includes a variety of sports and wellbeing activities and players are provided with uniforms, a meal and transport home within Darwin municipality if required.
LAUNCH Night Series aims to –
- Provide young people with a safe, healthy and positive environment on Saturday nights when they may be vulnerable to harmful and anti-social behaviour;
- Support young people to connect with and participate in positive activities in their local community;
- Provide healthy role models and build positive self-regard in young people; and
- Divert young people in areas of need from the risks associated with unhealthy behaviours.
City of Darwin has been providing this FREE late night sports program since 2015 (then known as Midnight Basketball). LAUNCH Night Series is delivered by Pathfinders NT and has been made possible with matched funding via the Northern Territory Government’s Targeted Darwin Youth Activities Grant program.
