maker cafe at Geecon
Maker Cafe is a pop up workshop space at GeeCon – Darwin’s first ever Anime and Video Game Festival! All activities are free for GeeCon attendees. The Maker Cafe program will run over both days as follows:
Saturday 30 September
10.00am – 10.00pm Manga Reading Room
10.00am – 12.00pm Drop-in Manga Drawing + Badge Making
11.00am – 1.00pm SFX Makeup Demonstration with Krista Kaye MUA
12.00pm – 2.45pm VR Demos + Makey Makeys
3.00pm – 3.45pm Halo Halo with Zandro Lagman
4.00pm – 5.00pm LEDs and Squishy Circuits
3.00pm – 10.00pm DIY Manga Drawing + Badge Making
Sunday 1 October
10.00am – 6.00pm Manga Reading Room
10.00am – 12.00pm Drop-in Manga Drawing + Badge Making
11.00am – 1.00pm SFX Makeup Demonstration with Krista Kaye MUA
12.00pm – 2.45pm VR + 3D Printing Demos
3.00pm – 3.45pm Ais Kacang with Jono Chow

Maker Cafe activities are free for GeeCon attendees. Tickets for GeeCon start at $35 (one day pre purchased pass). Children under 12 are free where accompanied by a ticketed legal guardian.
