Build up your public speaking skills with a paid gig at Darwin Festival!
LAUNCH and Darwin Festival have partnered to provide an opportunity for young people to MC at Darwin’s largest arts festival. Not only will you be mentored by industry legend Amy Heatherington, but also be paid to MC the Darwin Port Bandstand in Festival Park.
Applications are open to young people who are interested in MCing either solo or as part of a duo.

- 2 x skills development workshops

Eligibility
To be eligible for this opportunity you will need to be …
- 16-25 years old
- Live, work, study or play in Darwin
- Available to attend both workshop sessions:
– 9am-10:30am Saturday 3 August
– 3pm-4:30pm Sunday 4 August - Able to MC for at least 2 nights during the festival (8-25 August)
