Skate Calendar 2020

LAUNCH Darwin presents a 10 month long skate program annually. Entertaining local park users during the receding-wet-season month of March, all the way into December where the build up makes us question even leaving the house!

Aimed at shredders aged 12-25 the LAUNCH Darwin skate program promotes the use of the Jingili Skate Park as well as establishing a connected skate park community through active recreation opportunities and social motivation. Our skate events fall into three categories which are ‘social’, ‘competitive’ and ‘come try’. Through this variation we are able to present events for shredders of all skill levels and confidence.

For the safety of our community we have postponed all upcoming skate events. This follows the current guidelines as set out by the Australian Government surrounding COVID-19.

Despite the disappointment that comes with this action, we do look forward to finding new ways to continue connecting with one another around our shared passion of skating.
