Want to learn how to run a skate competition?
Learn the ins and outs of putting on a multi-discipline skate event by helping us run Street Heat 2022, on Saturday 9 April as a part of Northern Territory Youth Week.
Learn the basics of:
- Project planning including working with deadlines and timelines
- Creating a great event through having a say on activities for the day
- Designing a safe community space using risk assessments and good planning
- Budgets
As a part of this opportunity, you will get to participate in three workshops before the event, then assist onsite at Street Heat 2022 for 4 hours.
This is a volunteer role for which you will receive a small payment to cover your participation expenses such as transport, use of personal devices and data.
This opportunity is for young people aged 16-25
